- Welcome to Canine Resort boarding kennels, serving mainly the Brighton On, Trenton On, Belleville & Colborne On area.
- We provide an exceptional boarding facility for your pet. Our kennels are clean and well maintained. Each pet receives personal care, attention & accomodations.
- We strive to provide your pet with a tidy, spacious, stress free enviroment during their stay with us. Each guest kennel is complimented with a large outdoor run as well as access to a large exercise area (about 2,500 sq ft.) up to twice a day.

- The AKC recognizes six groups: sporting dogs, hounds, working dogs, terriers, toys, and non-sporting dogs. Sporting dogs hunt, locate (point), and retrieve game birds. Hounds hunt all game except birds.
- Toys are tiny dogs bred mainly as pets. Non-sporting dogs are those purebreds not included in the other categories.
- Dog Terms: Breed: A variety of dog with consistent traits. Crop:To clip off the top of a puppy's ears to make them stand erect; illegal in some countries. Dock: To shorten a puppy's tail by cutting off a portion.
- Dog: Strictly speaking, a male canine. Feathering: Long fringes of hair on the ears, legs, and tail of some dogs. Kennel: A place where dogs are bred and/or boarded. Mongrel: A dog whose parents were not of the same breed.
- License: Permission by a government agency enabling anyone to keep a dog; usually requires a fee. Mutt: Another name for a mongrel. Pedigree: A listing of the names of a dog's recent ancestors.
- Purebred: A dog whose parents and other ancestors were all of the same breed. Registration Papers: Proof that the names of a purebred and its parents are on record at a dog registry, such as the American Kennel Club (AKC). Stud: A male used for breeding.
