Bailey’s Cottages is a third generation family run fishing resort located in the rural countryside on Moira Lake.
Seasonal housekeeping cottages and tent and trailer sites.
RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED We require a deposit of $75. per week upon reservation. We accept cash (in Canadian Funds) and personal cheques. Cancellations must be received seven days in advance.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date in current season.
FREE Wi-Fi Available 2016!
Guests may bring their own boats and motors. Rates Day - $5.00 Week - $35.00 plus tax Canadian Funds
kayaks for rent 1/2 day: $15.00 daily: $25.00 12 or 14 foot aluminum boats oars, anchor, lifejackets and other regulatory safety equipment Rates (aluminum boats) Day - $40.00 Week -$200.00 plus tax Canadian Funds
Moira Lake contains a variety of fish. Walleye and Pike season open the 2nd Sat. in May. Muskellunge season opens the 1st Sat. in June. Bass season opens the third Sat. in June.

Hello Sharon and Doug Sure was great seeing you after so many years. In spite of the circumstances, much enjoyed the time with you, Roscoes, and Jane. We just got home from Bailey's cottages! What an awesome week we had! The hospitality was great, the cottages were clean and fishing was great! Thank you to Sharon and Doug! Hopefully your daughter inlaw isn't mad at us for the mix up! Lol

In August I and my brother are once again making the trip to Bailey's Cottages. This will make my eight year in a row making this trip. It is six hundred miles from my home, but the experience is worth the drive. We have a splendid time when we are there. You may not be able to rent a cottage the last week in September, becasue my brother-inlaw is taking eight other men from his chuch there to experience the adventure.

Had and amazing stay at Bailey's Cottages on the August long weekend of 2014. My wife, son and I cannot say enough good things about the hospitality and the people we met during our stay. The fishing is outstanding as are those running Bailey's Cottages. Much thanks to Doug, Sharon, Brad and Kerry. My son Liam says the kids are really cool too. We appreciated all they did to make our stay feel like home and we are looking forward to many more visits over the years to come.

Bailey's Cottages was a fantastic place to get away. We were up there in May and it was just perfect. we had the cottage right by the water, a fire pit was there as well ... it was perfect. and the inside of the cottage itself was roomy and very comfortable. Thanks again for a wonderful time. we are booking again for Labour day weekend!

I fished and stayed at Bailey's Cottages in 2001 thru 2006 and am making the trip again this year. I have caught several record class fish especially Muskies! I can't wait to go again. Doug and Sharon are great hosts and their cottages are top notch. See you on the water!

I and my brother-inlaw make the trip to Canada from Cincinnati Ohio, and stay at Bailey's cottages every year. It is six hundred miles towing a bass boat which burns through the gas but the time we spend there is worth every penny. I am fairly young and I hope that this great place becomes a fourth generation owned business so I can take my grand children.
