Description From Owner:

• Ian Fraser purchased the Oak Heights property in 1997 as a weekend home for himself, his children and grandchildren. He had always had a passion for wine and, in the spring of 2000, the idea of planting vines on the fertile land emerged.
• After visiting some of the world's most prestigious wineries in California, Niagara Region, Burgundy, France and many regions of Australia, Fraser decided to make his vineyard a commercial enterprise.
• In the fall of 2006 wine production began on the property under the guidance of winemaker Mike Traynor. Oak Heights Estate Winery was launched.
• The winery is just minutes from the small town of Warkworth and 17 kilometers north of Highway 401. Today, the Winery offers exceptional quality boutique wines, beautiful scenery and a unique, refined country experience.
