- We are a non-profit organization opening two new programs. Bright Beginnings of Tweed & District, formerly known as Tweed & District Nursery School is opening two new licensed daycares in Tweed in September. Children ages 2 to 9 can benefit from half day, full day, and after hours programming. Free busing is available for JK/SK children, space permitting. The centres are designated Best Start sites located in local schools. Subsidy is available. Accepting registration now at 613-478-5676
