- Pop. 256. In Kenyon T., Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry Cs., on C. Rd. 20, 25 km. N of Cornwall.
- The area was settled primarily by Scots. When the CPR was built, the right-of-way ran through an apple orchard on high ground owned by Sandy Kennedy. When the post office opened in 1882 it was named Apple Hill.
