Description From Owner:

  • Pop. 35. In West Lincoln T., Niagara Region on C. Rds. 20, 27 & 65, 25 km NW of Welland. Christian Sunday from Germany settled here in 1830 and for a time the place was called Sunday's Settlement.
  • By 1860 it was known as Ball's Corners after Crysler Ball opened a store. In 1872 when the post office opened, the place was named to honour the Prussian general Prince Otto von Bismarck.
