- Pop. 73. In Lanark C. on C. Rd. 17, 17 km NW of Carleton Place.
- First named Norway Pine Falls, the community's name changed to Snedden's and Snedden's Mills after Alexander Snedden who settled in the 1820s and built a mill. Later it was called Rosebank.
- When the post office was opened in 1874, the name was changed to honour Dominick Edward Blake, premier of Ontario 1871-72.
