- Pop. 83. In McNab T., Renfrew C. on the Madawaska R. and C. Rds. 52 & 508, 28 km SW of Arnprior.
- In 1834 the place was called McNab Post Office, but at a public meeting of the all-Scottish residents in 1853, John Sutherland proposed naming the place after Scottish poet Robert Burns.
