- Pop. 98. In Lennox & Addington Cs. at the SW end of Beaver L. and C. Rd. 41,1 km N of C. Rd. 13,28 km NW of Napanee.
- Early settler John Murphy named this community in 1853 when the first Catholic church was built. The 'Erin' was from the poetic title of Ireland. The 'ville' was because he expected the community to grow to a considerable size.
