- Pop. 969. In Stephen T., Huron C., just W of Hwy 4,7 km. S of Exeter. A military post office was established as RCAF Centralia in 1952.
- By 1966 the place was no longer an armed forces base and the name was changed to Huron Park, taking the name from the county. Huron County took its name from a confederacy of five Iroquois tribes from the Midland area.
