- Pop. 1,360. Part of the Town of Vaughan in the Reg. Mun. of York on a branch of the Humber R. and C. Rd. 27, 28 km NW of Toronto.
- The community is named after the first settler, John Nicholas Klein, who arrived in 1837. For years the name was misspelled as Klineburg.
- On the community's outskirts is the McMichael Art Gallery with a major collection of Group of Seven paintings and First Nations Peoples and Inuit art.
