- Pop. 51. In South Elmsley T., United Cs. of Leeds and Grenville, on Hwy 15 and C. Rd. 1, 11 km. SW of Smiths Falls.
- The place was settled in the 1820s by Francis Lombard who opened an inn on the Brockville-Perth road.
- The community was called Lombard Corners until 1853 when the South Elmsley post office opened, named after the T. Residents petitioned in 1873 for the return of the name Lombardy to honour the community's founder and the name was restored.
