• Fonthill is located on Hwy 20 five km. west of the 406. Tradewinds restaurant is located beside the C.I.B.C. bank in downtown Fonthill.

Business Hours:

• Reservations recommended. Lunch Tuesday - Saturday 11:30am - 3 pm. Dinner Tuesday - Saturday 4pm - 9:00 pm. Open Sunday by reservation only 4pm - 8 pm.

Description From Owner:

• In 1999, Werner placed in the top 380 restaurants of the TORONTO LIFE RESTAURANT GUIDE out of the thousands operating in the GTA. Enjoy delightful Caribbean influences from the talented hands of Werner Hauer.
• Werner is a Niagara Falls native who apprenticed at Toronto's Sutton Place in 1971, and went on to serve fine restaurants in the Caribbean. His final term in the warmer climes was with the famous Chez Michel restaurant in Virgin Gorda, BVI.
• The menu changes monthly and features a cross section of international cuisine. Indulge in great pastas, exciting salads, fresh fish and meats professionally and imaginatively created by Werner.
• Our complete Dinner Special is a fabulous deal! Choice of large soup or large salad for starters, a gourmet dinner, Choice of dessert to finish $19.95. Dinner offerings: Chicken Breast with fresh mango salsa; Baked shrimp and snapper in Rice Paper;
