Description From Owner:

• Brenda's baskets are hand-made one-of-a-kind baskets and containers. Some are made from ash, willow and grape and woven in the classical over/under technique.
• Others are made using the 'coiling' method from pine needles or grasses such as Japanese blood grass and sewn together with the finest waxed Irish linen thread. They are embellished with slices of black walnut, antler or shell,
• Some are trimmed with leaves from wild iris, day lilies or sweet grass.
• Weaver, Brenda Crawford, began her weaving career in 1997 and hasn't stopped since. Her baskets can be seen in the Images Of Canada catalogue and galleries around Ontario.
• Brenda's baskets will be on view at the 2004 Tweed and Area Studio tour at the White Pine Gallery, located in the south end of Madoc on Highway 62
• The ash baskets can be adorned with an accent colour, such as hunter green, country blue or burgundy.
• I also do cane seat weaving on chairs and ash splint seats and backs
• Allow 3 - 4 weeks delivery.
