Driving Directions:

• From the 401 (Toronto), exit at the Big Apple(497), drive south to Colborne. Turn left and drive 10 km. From the 401 (Kingston) take Brighton exit (509) and drive south to the stoplights in Brighton. Turn right onto Main St.(hwy 2). Drive 3 km.

Season Details:

• MARKET- open daily 9:30 to 5:30 (includes Sun & holidays), 1st week of Nov open 11 to 4. Every Fri & Sat in Nov open 11 to 4. CLOSED after Nov 29. MAZE -open July 25 to Nov 2. Open daily (includes Sun & holidays), 9:30 to 4:30- Sat til 6:00.

Description From Owner:

• Cricklewood Farm offers fun for the whole family. Raspberries are available from early July to early Aug and mid-Sept to mid-Oct.
• Our apple orchard is around 10 acres in size. Throughout the season, we have over 40 different varieties of apples; 13 of which are available for pick your own.
• On our farm we have an experimental plot which has several new apple varieties as well as many that are still being evaluated and as of yet are identified by a code. Have some fun and try a sample -you may just find a new favourite apple.
• Every year our 6 acre corn maze changes. Over the past 6 years it has been an apple & corn cob, an elephant, a dragon, a castle, wolves, a pirate & his ship, and an octopus. For 2008 the maze is shaped like a firefighter.
• Maze adventurers are challenged to solve several puzzles by collecting clues and information found in the maze. If they solve these puzzles they are rewarded with a prize. There is an admission charge to enter the maze.
• During the season we have all kinds of pumpkins; orange, striped, white, big & small. Squash include acorn/pepper, butternut, orange & green hubbard, buttercup, sweet dumpling, spaghetti, turban, grey ghost, pink banana, stripetti & blue hubbard.
• We also sell sweet corn, gourds, cornstalks, honey, candy apples, homemade pies & cookies, and candy & caramel apples (on weekends).
• A picnic area and straw mountain are available for your use and enjoyment.
• We were excited to work together this year with the Brighton Fire Department & theUnited Way. For the weekend of Oct 4 & 5, $500 from our maze sales was donated to the fire department, while on the 18 & 19 we were able to donate $675 to the United Way.
• Thank you to everyone for their generosity. Our community certainly appreciates it. We look forward to your return in 2009 and anyone else who would like to drop in and visit.

• Family rate 25.50 - each additional child (12 & under) 4.20

• Twilight walks are available on the Saturdays of long weekends beginning in August and also the last weekend in September. We offer group rates, birthday rates and school tours in season.
