- -BUILT IN 1929!. The Station was built in 1929 and renovated in 2004. As a result, Havelock has The Station Restaurant, an excellent steakhouse restaurant in the heart of a beautiful historical setting.
- -WARNING: ACTIVE TRAIN TRACKS! The train tracks are still very active, freighting two significant mines in the area. Please do not allow children to play unsupervised outside, and keep at least 20 feet away from the railroad tracks.

- -EXCELLENT WHEELCHAIR ACCESS! A gently sloping ramp brings wheelchairs from the parking lot to the patio. Front double doors both slide open to greet you. And the separate, wheelchair-accessible washroom is easy to get into and out of.
