  • Abandoned for approximately a decade, The Miniotis Family undertook to salvage a bright spot in Canadian history and in Peterborough County's itinerate! Many families are employed on behalf of the township today because this building was salvaged. Thanks be to the Miniotis Family, All the fine staff, to Peterborough County and Ontario and the wonderful township of Havelock-Belmont-Metheun, who supports us! :)

I decided to take my girlfriend out to the station for the second time. Our server, Taylor (I believe we had her the first time as well) was very friendly and had great customer service. Overall the service was amazing, our drinks came immediately along with our food.

We had dinner at this child friendly restaurant this week. Food was delivered fast and was hot and delicious. Our waitress was so accommodating and made us feel right at home. Kids loved it and it was a great night pour with the family sitting and eating my the tracks!

Called for some take out, the lady on the phone was super sweet, quick ordering, time estimate given and was bang on when I walked in to pick up. Would definitely stop again. Boys had burgers and said they were great homemade patties. Girls had pasta, spinach dip and grilled cheese. Everything was hot, fresh and tasty.

Amazing food. Had the wing special with the pineapple curry sauce. Excellent and Hubby had the chicken strips and mozzarella sticks. Ans the service was amazing. We will be back!!!

I have always been on the road from Peterborough to Havelock Ontario, passed this restaurant several times during several years, finally stopped for a bite and I can't believe how wonderful and delicious the food is! The menu offers great deals on tasty food at awesome prices and if you are a vegan they have salads and veggie burgers that can fool me...lol I highly recommend this place to all ages and most important the service is friendly and courteous specially now during the pandemic!

If you are passing by Highway 7, be sure to stop off at the Havelock Station Restaurant. They serve exceptional food, such as their Chicken Souvlaki (flavourful and tender) and the fish and chips with great coleslaw and fries. The staff is very cheerful and the interior clean. Put all this in 1900's restored CP train station and you'll have a wonderful experience.

We were visiting friends in Havelock & stopped here for lunch---a beautiful drive down from Mississauga PLUS an incredible find in this restaurant. The food was excellent, the building beautiful and unique in so many ways and the history ! We had a wonderful lunch, and, of course, a washroom visit (!!), a tour around the inside and outside. The railway history of this place was worth looking into as well.

Don't miss this little piece of Ontario history. Great greek-inspired food in a real, restored train station. The washrooms alone are worth the stop! And for a large/family group, the trainmaster's office provides a wonderful 'private' dining area. We have a cottage in the area and make a point of eating lunch here on our return trip - the patio is great too, off the highway, for an 'al fresco' dining experience.

This place is beautiful. Great food and prices. Just east of Peterborough and well worth the short drive. Everytime we are in the area, this is the only place we will eat at! See for your self.
