The WOLLASTON HERITAGE CENTRE will be designed and themed around a 19th century central Ontario mining town located in the Hamlet of Coe Hill.
Interaction with historic pieces of mining equipment will provide insight into the shaft mining of iron ore.
Other of our artifacts will show exhibits from a one room school, a homeopathic doctors' office, a blacksmiths shop, logging, farming and railroad equipment and other artifacts that we have already stored.
We have acquired four portable school buildings to hold our antiques and artifacts.
