Pop. 25. In London T., Middlesex C., Reg. Mun. of North Middlesex on Medway Cr. and Hwy 4 & C. Rd. 28, 3 km N of London.
The community was settled in the 1840s and first called St. Johns. When the post office was established in 1852 a different name was required and Arva was chosen after Arvagh in County Cavan, Ireland.
