Pop. 63. In Lanark C. on C. Rd. 511,5.5 km. NW of Perth. The registered name for the town plot here was Clarksville, but John Balderson from Lincolnshire, England was the fIrst settler in 1816 and the place became known as Balderson's Corners.
The post office opened as Balderson in 1858.
