- Pop. 2,632. In South Dorchester T., Elgin c., on Kettle Cr. and Hwy 74 and C. Rds. 37 & 74, 22 km. SW of London.
- Settled in 1832 by Joshua S. Odell and known as Kettle Creek. In 1849 the name was changed to Plymouth. In 1853 a post office was established as Plymouth, one mi. (1.6 km.) N ofthe settlement known as Belmont.
