Pop. 118. In Sydenham T., Grey C. on Bighead R. and C. Rd. 29, 16 km SE of Owen Sound.
In 1873 the place was called Sydenham Mills, but in 1879 postmaster C. H. Heming changed the name to avoid confusion with Sydenham, in Frontenac C., N of Kingston.
Heming took the name from Bognor Regis in West Sussex, England.
