- Pop. 253. Part of the Town of Lincoln, Reg. Mun. of Niagara on C. Rds. 18 & 22, 14 km. W of St. Catharines.
- There were a few log homes in the area as early as 1812, and by the 1850s Campden had a number of businesses.
- The place was fIrst known as Moyer's Corners for Jacob Moyer and his seven sons, who owned most of the land in the area. When a post offIce was established in 1862 it was given the name of Campden, after Chipping Campden in Gloucestershire, England.
