Pop. 692. In Woolwich T., Waterloo C.,just W of the confluence of the Grand and Conestogo Rs. on C. Rds. 17 & 22,16 km. N ofKitchener.
The first settler, in 1832, was David Musselman, after whom the place was named Musselman's Mills.
In 1856 the settlement was renamed Conestogo by settlers from the Conestogo Creek region of Pennsylvania.
