Pop. 293. Part of the City of London in North Dorchester T., Middlesex C., on C. Rd. 2.
The first settler Was Robert Dreaney who came from Ireland in the 1840s and built a hotel and blacksmith shop.
The settlement was first known as Dreaney's Corners. In 1869 Robert Dreaney became the first post-master. He named the place after the Irish hometown of some of the settlers.
