Pop. 52. In Renfrew C. on Constant Cr. and Hwy 132,3 km E of Hwy 41, 26 km SW of Renfrew.
The place was named in 1865, possibly after a village in Cumberland, England, (now in Cumbria.) On a former section of Hwy 41 there's a 'magnetic hill.'
The optical illusion is 2 km S of the junction of Hwys 41 and 132 and is just as mind-boggling as Moncton N.B.'s much-ballyhooed Magnetic Hill.
