Visited Erinsville recently from Ireland. We had a magnificent trip and took in many sites and places of interest including your lovely church. It was nice to see the church kept to its original style and was very impressed with the church and area. My descendants arrived in that area from a little place called Glin Co Limerick Ireland in the early and mid 1800s. They carried the same surname that I do. Tthere are many of their descendants living in the area now. We will be back next year. I want the Irish Broadcasting Company to do a documentary on this area. I will approach them next week. It’s a story that needs to be told. johnhunt1212@gmail.com

i understand from family that my great grandfather settled in the area. my grandmother hester mcgrath was born in the 1880's and was 2nd eldest of 14. her father supposedly was a horse breaker or trader. so i am putting anything out there that someone may have some history on.
