Pop. 117. In Sudbury Diston Hwy 69, 32km SE of Sudbury. The post office opened in 1927 and was frrst called Industrial Farm.
Later that year the name was changed to Burwash Industrial Farm after a nearby reformatory. In 1832 the name was changed to Estaire but the origin of the name has not been recorded.
