- Pop. 2,734. In Colchester South T., Essex C., on C. Rds. 3 & 13, 15 km. W of Kingsville. The community was first called Mungers or Mungers Corners after a pioneer family.
- The first postmaster, in 1857, was J. Munger. The name Harrow, after Harrow-on-the-Hill, Middlesex, England, was chosen by John O'Connor, member of Parliament and later postmaster-general.
- Harrow is the site of a large Canada Department of Agriculture research station.
