  • Pop. 188. In Simcoe C., on the W shore of L. Simcoe and C. Rd. 20, immediately E of Hwy II, 12 km S of Orillia.
  • The name Hodges' Landing honoured early settler Richard Hodges for a time, but in 1846 James Patton of nearby Barrie had the community renamed to honour Anthony Bewden Hawke, chief immigrant agent for Upper Canada (1835-1864.)
