Pop. 969. In Stephen T., Huron C., just W of Hwy 4,7 km. S of Exeter. A military post office was established as RCAF Centralia in 1952.
By 1966 the place was no longer an armed forces base and the name was changed to Huron Park, taking the name from the county. Huron County took its name from a confederacy of five Iroquois tribes from the Midland area.
