Pop. 87. In the United Cs. of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry on the South Nation R. and C. Rd. 3, 24 km. NW of Morrisburg.
The community was known as Surrel, Smith's Mills and Bishop's Mills before being named Inkerman in 1858 after the Battle of Inkerman fought in the Crimea in 1854.
