Description From Owner:

Pop. 329. In Kaladar T., Lennox and Addington Cs., on Beaver Cr. and Hwy 41, 62 km. NW of Napanee.
The place was first called Flint's Mills and the post office opened in 1856 as Flint.
Billa Flint was a senator and prosperous Belleville merchant who owned large tracts of timber in Kaladar T. The following year the name was changed to Kaladar, after the township.
In 1890 the community was renamed Northbrook, possibly after Thomas George, Earl of Northbrook.
