Pop. 152. In Cochrane and Kenora Districts on the Albany River at the mouth of the Ogoki R., 220 km. NE of Geraldton.
The community started as a Hudson's Bay Company post. The name is an Ojibwa word for 'joining to,' referring to the confluence of the two large rivers.
