Pop.246. In Cardiff T., Haliburton C., on Hwys 28 & 121, immediately NE of the NE tip ofPaudash L., 13 km. SW of Bancroft.
The post office was established in 1888 as Paudash, the name honouring First Nations Peoples chief Capt. George Paudash, leader of a Mississauga band that lived at Rice Lake.
