Pop. 14,061. Town in the Reg. Mun. of Niagara. The town was formed by regional government in 1970 from the former T. of Pelham, which contained the communities of Fonthill, Ridgeville, Fenwick, and North Pelham.
Pelham derives from the family name of Henry Fiennes Pelham Clinton, Duke of Newcastle.
