Pop. 339. In Reg. Mun. of Waterloo, on C. Rds. 6 & 12, 10 km. W of Kitchener. John Ernst was the first settler in 1832. The post office was established as Petersburg in 1842, named after Peter Wilker, a farmer and blacksmith and one of the early settlers
