Wonderful little restaurant! A place that is the common watering hole for the locals, which gives it a great home feeling. Hearing the words, 'your regular Joe?', followed by a quiet 'yes please'. Can't wait to go and try more of that small town hospitality.

Stop here every time we come by this way. They bake their own gluten-free bread in-house and it is delicious! Service is always excellent. Keep up the good work!

This place was so welcoming, and felt like 'coming home' without having to clear the table and do the dishes! Loved the service, food and cozy feel to the place, but so much space. This will be a stop on our trip to the cottage from here on in. Can't wait to try the screened in patio in the warmer weather.

After a miserable afternoon getting drenched while putting up our tent in Bon Echo Provincial Park we didn't feel much like cooking, so we packed the children in the car and headed out to find a place to eat. 20 minutes south of Bon Echo we found Addisons Restaurant, in Northbrook. The ambience is very much country dining, with lots of varnished wood, and plates, silver spoons and knick-knacks on the walls. Having had a large lunch we were after light bites: I ordered the reuben on rye, my wife ordered the smoked meat on rye, and the children had dishes from the children's menu. Our meals when they arrived in good time were simple, well-presented, and very well prepared. Both mains came with fries which were properly done, not soggy or soft, and an attractive and tasty fresh salad. In fact we regretted that we hadn't felt able to order anything more substantial, nor to try the dessert menu. Service throughout was excellent: very friendly and thoughtful, without ever feeling forced, and prices were very reasonable.

Ate at Addison's twice while camping at Bon Echo. Great home cooked meals, generous portions and extremely reasonable in price. The food was very fresh and tasty. Lasagna and the Meatloaf Mash were favorites.

WOW!!! What an incredible job Melissa and her staff did for my wedding. I was married on Oct.1st 2011 and couldn't have asked for a better dinner service than what Melissa pulled out for us. From meeting us days before the wedding to helping review the seating plan to setting up all my table decorations, moving all the grills/tables and other items out of the way at the last second so we could ensure our first dance was photographed. Melissa and her staff were amazing and the FOOD was incredible. The squash soup warmed everyone up as they raved about it, the ceaser salad was delicious and the steak with peppercorn was cooked to perfection! I am so glad we selected Addisons to cater for us on our big day, they were spectacular! Thanks again to Melissa and Staff.

We were looking for a small town restaurant to stop at for lunch today on our way back to Deep River from Oshawa - saw Addison's and knew right away this is the place we wanted to stop. Such a clean outside with a nice little entrance, then a wonderful dinning room. The food was so wonderful! I couldn't get over the Dog faced Puffer fish! She's a beauty! Melissa made us feel at home with the deep fried pickles, and made a point to help me chose something from the menu! I hope we have another trip in that direction sometime soon - it's our place to stop now! Thanks for such a wonderful lunch Melissa and Chris~!

Addison's is a fine addition to the Land O'Lakes area. An interesting menu, food well prepared, and nicely presented by the owners and staff. Couldn't ask for more. The weekend specials are great and very good value. AAA steak, prime rib of beef, honeyed pickerel and mussels -- all beautifully prepared. They will even do a steak rare if you ask!!!

We were there on Chris and Melissa's first day and the experience was such that we have become regulars. We have never had a meal that we didn't love, or that we left feeling hungry. The portions are great and beautifully presented. Steaks cooked to perfection, quiche surpassed by no other and desserts to entice everyone. A wonderful change from the 'diner' cuisine that has been served in the area. I especially admire the professional and courteous service as well as the 'at home' feel of the restaurant. This is a family affair and the pride in their business is evidenced by the care they give to all the diners, and the preparation of their superb food. I would and do reccommend this new restaurant to anyone who will listen. Addisons is THE place to go.
