Description From Owner:
  • Cricklewood Farm offers fun for the whole family. Raspberries are available for pick your own or fresh picked in early July and mid September.
  • Our apple orchard is around 8 acres in size. Throughout the season, we have over 40 different varieties of apples; 13 of which are available for pick your own. Apples begin around mid-August.
  • On our farm we have an experimental plot which has several new apple varieties as well as many that are still being evaluated and as of yet are identified by a code. Have some fun and try a sample -you may just find a new favourite apple.
  • Maze adventurers are challenged to solve several puzzles by collecting clues and information found in the maze. If they solve these puzzles they are rewarded with a prize. It usually takes about 1 hour to complete. There is a maze admission
  • During the season we have all kinds of pumpkins; orange, striped, white, big & small. Squash include acorn/pepper, butternut, orange & green hubbard, buttercup, sweet dumpling, spaghetti, turban, grey ghost, pink banana, stripetti & blue hubbard.

Went for the corn maze and had a blast. So many twists, turns and choices! we had high expectations and were not disappointed. Limited food choices but picked up a pack of ginger cookies and a pack if salted caramel cookies. Both were good but the ginger ones were fantastic. Shout out to the super clean porta potty - pleasant surprise!

Love this place. We come here every Canadian Thanksgiving to go apple picking. Very good selection of apples to pick from and they have a very nice assortment of other fall items: pumpkins, squash, etc. Very pet, family and kid friendly.

Had a blast here with the family. Went apple picking and pumpkin picking at the same time. There was a corn maze and a little playground for the little ones to play at. All of the apples we tried were delish and they had some great sized pumpkins for carving. They had some acorn squash and spaghetti squash as well. Great day at this orchard would suggest if you are in the area.

I began working for Brent and Beth in 2008. Their informative approach and dedication to freshness and quality never cease to amaze me. The way the staff all blend with immediate family to become a unit of their own truly makes one feel at home and establishes a pride in the farm as if it were truly ones own. I will continue with them as long as they will have me. Love you guys.

This is our 3rd year coming back to the farm and we love it!! We drive all the way from Barrie for these apples, raspberries and corn maze! Keep up the great work...we look forward to coming back for years to come!

The first time i went here was in 09' The experience was amazing. My brother, sister and I (triplets) had so much fun picking lovely fresh apples and berries. We especially had fun in the corn maze. Trying to figure out which way to go, getting frustrated, dying in the heat and having fun! It was amazing and the staff there were so nice!

My wife and I are regular customers of Cricklewood Farms. The apples are awesome; the folks the friendliest and most helpful; and visits are fun. Today, however, on one of our ususal visits; my wife accidently tripped and severely fractured two fingers. Beth and Lil immediately called for help; applied First Aid; and made my wife comfortable until help arrived.Their quick response, kindness and caring was greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. Thank you ladies! You are TOP DRAWER!! Sincerely, Dave and Annarella McWaters

I was only there to buy apples, but the help I received in picking out the variety I wanted was exceptional! The lady actually cut the apples to let me taste them before I bought anything. That is the first time any apple orchard has done this for me and it was greatly appreciated. Doing business this way they may lose a few apples but they've gained repeat customers. Thank you, Dorothy
