Port Lambton was a summertime hangout for lots of kids from the 'BURG'. {Wallaceburg} We would always go into 'Joes' (The Annex)for a shake and burger because we grew up and went to school with his grandkids Jimmy & Bruce Richards. Next to the Port Lambton ferry doc and Customs Canada was the government dock...a great place to swim and fish. Cottages dotted Hwy 40 along the St. Clair River there. My dad used to walk across the St Clair River on the iced during the depression to buy butter. Those were the days indeed. My first love was from Port Lambton. Yikes!
