Description From Owner:

In Ops T., Victoria C. on Hwy 7,10 km. SE of Lindsay.
When the Midland Railway arrived at this settlement in 1856 the place was named Kelly's Crossing, after Francis Kelly who ran a tavern called the Stone Inn.
In 1871 a post office was established here and named after Thomas Rea from County Fermanagh, Ireland, who had settled here in the early 1820s.
