Description From Owner:
  • Pop. 550. In Rear of Leeds and Lansdowne Ts., Leeds and prenville Cs., on the Rideau Canal and Hwy 15,21 km NW of Gananoque.
  • The community had its start in 1825, when John Seeley bought 200 acres (81 ha) of land around the bay. When the post office was established in 1851, the place was named Seeley's Bay. The Seeley family lived out their lives at the site.
