Pop. 40. In Goldie T., Thunder Bay Dist. at the junction of Hwys 11 & 17, 49 km. NW of Thunder Bay.
First known as Shebandowan Corners, now the name of a community on the lake of the same name, 21 km. W on Hwy 11. The origin of the name was the Ojibwa word sapakkwa, 'a clear view through the forest.'
