Pop. 356. In S. Harwich T., Oxford C., on C. Rds. 13 and 19, 12 km NE ofTillsonburg. The frrst school in the township was built in Springbrook in 1812.
In 1852 it was renamed with the Spring from Springbrook and 'ford' after a crossing of nearby Plum Creek.
