Pop. 50. In Renfrew C. on the Ottawa R. and Hwy 17, 39 km. NW of Deep River.
The community was called Rockcliffe in 1870, but because of confusion with the village of Rock cliffe Park near Ottawa it was renamed Stonecliff in 1909. In 1948 the 'e' was added to the end of the name.
