Description From Owner:
  • Pop. 912. In Strong T., Parry Sound Dist., on the NW shore of Bernard L., part of the Magnetawan River system, and Hwy 11 just N of its junction with Hwy 124, 67 km S of North Bay.
  • The community was settled in the 1870s ane enjoyed a period of growth in 1886, with the arrival of the CNR. The first postmaster, John Paget, named the community Sun Ridge or Sunny Ridge, but the name became corrupted through use to Sundridge.
