- Pop. 807. In West Oxford T., Oxford C., on C. Rds. 12 & 40, 5 km. S of Woodstock.
- First known as Floodtown, the post office was established as Sviaborg in 1857. The name is that of a fortress in the Gulf of Finland near Helsinki, heavily bombarded by the Allies during the Crimean War of 1854.
- An elderly resident had been reading about the place in a report of the Crimean War and suggested Floodtown be named Sviaborg. When the post office stamp arrived, the name had been misspelled as Sweaburg. The error was never corrected.
