  • Pop. 191. In Cochrane Dist., on the Ontario Northland Railway and Hwy 11, 19 km. SE of Hearst. In 1927 George Cote was the fIrst postmaster and named the community Cote Siding. In 1935 the name was changed to Val Cote.
