- Pop. 86. In Eastnor T., Bruce C. on Barrow Bay off Georgian Bay and C. Rd. 9, 29 km N of Wiarton.
- In the late 1800s a sawmill here was cutting 500 railway ties daily and a grist mill on Judge's Creek in 1892 was grinding locally-grown grain.
- Today the community caters to summer tourists. In 1845 Admiralty Surveyor of the Great Lakes, Henry Wolsey Bayfield named the bay for Sir John Barrow (1764-1848).
