Doo Doo's has a reputation that precedes it. They are perennially on lists for the 'best butter tarts in Ontario.' Since butter tarts were invented in Ontario, that means they are among the best in the world. I am pleased to report that the butter tarts live up their reputation. They are outstandingly consistent and smooth. What elevates them above many of their competitors is a slight toasted/caramel flavour that's very addictive. It was immediately obvious how Doo Doo's has become something of a butter tart institution in the province.

Definitely the best butter tarts I’ve ever eaten. I think it was $3.75 a tart. Had a few options left near the end of day when we went both times. Top favourites by far were the original & the bacon. The apple turnover was also very yummy!

Service was good but tarts were even better. We came near closing on a weekday but there were still plenty for us to leave with more than enough. Tried the pecan, raisin, cheesecake and pumpkin. Each was a hit! It's out of the way for us but definitely worth the detour, especially now that we know how delicious they are.

We are just visiting the area and had never heard the name Doo Doo's before. My partner found the bakery on a random Google map find and we were so excited! The tarts are impeccable and we were also recommended to try the sausage rolls. Amazing! Tart crust is chewy, crumbly and buttery. The inside is a beautiful combination of thick and chewy on top, and the bottom is thinner with a huge punch of flavour. We may even come back here just to revisit Doo Doo's! No wonder they have so many awards ribbons on display inside, definitely should be proud of their product!

Wow... This is the best butter tart I have ever tasted. The pastry is so flaky and buttery and the filling isn't overly sweet. There is something very unique about that filling taste and texture! If I had known we could freeze them, then I would have bought way more than just 6.

These are the best butter tarts we have ever tasted! My sister's and I drove from Oshawa to get a few of these after hearing all the rave reviews. We decided on the raisin butter tarts and we were not disappointed. They deserve every award they have been given. They are most definitely the best butter tarts in Ontario!

We learned of Doo Doo's amazing butter tarts when we attended a butter tart festival close to home a few years ago. As a break from the already 8 week stay at home isolation, decided a 90 minute drive to visit the store was needed. The tarts did not disappoint! They are incredibly delicious!

Yes, the butter tarts... Yes, the butter tarts are wonderful in all their versions, but so are many of their other baked goods, from Eccles cakes to sausage rolls. When I go in for goodies to take home I always buy extras for the drive and arrive with a happy, guilty smile. But I enjoy going in there for lunch or breakfast too, The freshly-baked bread is excellent, and the service is warm and good-humoured. It's great to know that places like this can still flourish, with high quality food at such reasonable prices.

We stopped by last Tuesday, August 13th, on our back to Toronto from Wildwood Cottages. Your pecan butter tarts are truly the best ones we've ever tasted, savoury yummy filling and real fresh. It was worth the drive to Bailieboro. Kudos! We will be back!

Driving on the Hwy 28 going to Peterborough, I had to go make a pit stop to use the restroom. When I walked in the employees greeted me and asked if I needed help. After a little bit i decided to try Doo Doo's Raspberry butter tarts!. I had to buy the rest of them on the shelf and make Doo Doo work hard to make more! I highly suggest for anyone to try them, as they are FRESH and don't have preservatives in them!
